Yes, you can machine wash your JetMask. We recommend a handwash cycle at a temperature of 30°C and to put your JetMask in a mesh laundry bag or closable pillow case before putting it in the machine.
Always allow your JetMask to air dry. Never place it in a hot dryer, which can damage the finish.
Please note that our Black Unicorn Mask has been washed up to 60°C without loosing stones.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) it is recommended to wear a cloth face covering such as a JetMask in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g. grocery stores, pharmacies etc) and especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.
CDC advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. Cloth face coverings such as a JetMask can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure.
According to the CDC, a washing machine suffices to clean a cloth face covering.
You should be careful not to touch your eyes, nose and mouth when removing your JetMask and wash hands immediately after removing your worn JetMask.
You should wear a cloth face covering such as a JetMask whenever you are in a community setting, especially in situations where you are near people such as in grocery stores or pharmacies. Wearing a cloth face covering or JetMask is not a substitute for social distancing. Cloth face coverings are especially important to wear in public in areas of widespread COVID-19 illness.
Yes - wearing a JetMask or cloth face covering is an additional public health measure you should take to reduce the spread of COVID-19. CDC still recommends to stay at least 2m away from other people (social distancing), frequent hand cleaning and other preventive actions.
A JetMask or cloth face covering is not intended to protect the wearer, but it may prevent the spread of the virus from the wearer to other people.
This is especially important if someone is infected but does not have symptoms.

Please do not place a JetMask or cloth face covering on young children or anyone who has trouble breathing or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the cover without assistance.
The CDC recommends wearing a cloth face covering instead of medical grade face masks as surgical masks and N95 respirators are in short supply and should be reserved for healthcare workers or other medical first responders.
Size & Fit
All JetMasks are one sized and made from a comfortable elasticated cotton fabric and fit most. Our design hugs and contours the face for optimum fit. JetMasks are genderless, designed for adults. They may be too large and therefore not suitable for small children. They may be too small if you have a very wide/large face.
